Putting grip

Grip the putter along the lifeline of the left hand, holding it in with the tips of the fingers. Overlap the fingers of the right hand with the forefinger of your left hand. The club is held with the first and second fingers and thumb of the right hand. To do this you dispose of the third and forth fingers of the right hand by placing them loosely on the first and second fingers of my left hand.

The position of the left hand keeps the face of the club pointing towards the hole all through the swing. The right hand hold enables the club-head to move straight back from the ball.
